![]() ![]() The results indicate that the new MRT model might contribute to considerable improvements in prediction of thermal comfort of persons affected by direct solar radiation. The measurements were conducted during mid-March and April 2013. The verification of the model is carried out by comparing simulation results with fullscale measurements of a team office located in Oslo (59N10E). The new feature of the model is that it includes the effect of shortwave radiation in the room and contributes to a more comprehensive prediction of operative temperature, e.g. N2 - (MRT) model for IDA Indoor Climate and Energy (IDA ICE).
